The CPSE appoints Ms. Heather M. McGuire to the Board of Directors representing city managers that oversee a CFAI accredited agency.
Heather McGuire has served as City Administrator for St. Charles, Illinois since 2021, overseeing an accredited fire department. Prior to her work in municipal government, Ms. McGuire was a practicing attorney with a focus in municipal law. Her career in local government began in 2013 as in-house counsel, before transitioning to administration.
Ms. McGuire holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from DePaul University. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from Northern Illinois University and is currently licensed to practice law in Illinois.
