Each year, the Center for Public Safety Excellence (CPSE) recognizes the best of our community through our awards and scholarship programs. Please consider submitting a nomination or application for one of our programs to showcase your achievements and unique talents.

The Center for Public Safety Excellence (CPSE) established the Randy R. Bruegman Agency Innovation Award in honor of Chief Randy Bruegman, CFO, a past CPSE President in recognition of his quarter century of dedicated service to CPSE between 1992 and 2017. We will present this award annually to a CFAI-accredited agency that has worked collaboratively to innovate a practice leading to improved outcomes that could serve as a model for the greater fire and emergency service.

This award recognizes an individual who goes above and beyond in their support of accreditation, credentialing, and CPSE as a whole. The CPSE staff makes their selection based on their interactions and observations over the prior year.
