The Center for Public Safety Excellence (CPSE) has appointed Mr. Bradley Arnold to the Commission on Fire Accreditation International representing a county manager overseeing an accredited agency.

Since 2006, he has served as the County Administrator of Sumter County, Florida and previously served in two similar positions in Georgia.

Mr. Arnold worked in two family businesses before entering local government and served in the Navy Reserve for eight years with an active-duty deployment to Afghanistan from June 2006-May 2007.

Sumter County leads Florida in the number of accredited operations, including Sumter County Fire & EMS, through the CFAI process. He previously served one term as a CFAI Commissioner followed by service on the Appeals Committee and is now serving a second term as a Commissioner.

Mr. Arnold earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from The Citadel and a Master of Public Administration degree from Valdosta State University.
